Theme Thursday - Conversation
Theme Thursday is a fun weekly event hosted by Kavyen at Reading Between Pages. Anyone can participate. Here are the rules:
•A theme will be posted each week
•Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
•Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
•It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
This week’s theme is CONVERSATION.
"I made a lunch date with Tanya Ross. I was attracted to her, and we both spoke art, which meant the conversation never ran dry: we could talk about artists, shows, openings, museums, prices, collectors, Europe, the Prado, uptown, downtown, gossip, theory, Bilbao, the Guggenheim, little-known works at the Met, the Frick, Isabella Stuart Gardner, Chuck Close, Florine Stettheimer, and sales."

ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along.. Love your header pic.
Hey, good take on the theme. I like how it's not an actual conversation but someone describing their conversation.

Hi!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting thought. Talking about all that stuff would really keep a conversation going. Have a great day!
