No Filter Friday

I'm a day late posting this, but there's still plenty to let loose about.
  1. I am sickened by the murder of the 8 year old Brooklyn boy who was walking home from school last week. Unfortunately we hear about these stories all the time, about children who are abducted while walking alone or with a friend, only to be found dead. What is wrong with people that they take a child, in most cases unknown to them, and do horrific and disgusting things to them? This happens over and over again. And these perpetrators wind up spending the rest of their lives, in most cases, in a climate-controlled jail cell with 3 meals a day. Perhaps if the penalty for such a thing was public hanging, these twisted individuals would be less likely to commit these hideous crimes. It's not a guaranteed solution . . . but I say it's worth a try.
  2. I have no idea how to run a government or country nor do I proclaim to be an expert on the economy, but those who do and are need to come up with a solution to this ever-increasing debt problem. If they can't, they should be fired! That would save the country some money.
  3. If 2/3 of the population think Casey Anthony killed her daughter and all the jurors believe she did also, why is she walking out of prison on Sunday? There's something wrong with our system.

  1. Great post! I agree with everything that you said! We need to get some rope and get rid of a few hideous criminals and politicians, too! :) As for Casey Anthony--I agree, there is definately something wrong with our system!

  2. the problem with the Casey Anthony case was an over zealous prosecutor. They could have gotten a guilty charge EASY on a lesser charge, but he wanted to go for the big one and just didn't prove his case. Mainly because he couldn't prove pre-meditation. I hope this case sends a message to prosecutors to not worry about the media, try your case with what you have!!

    ps. I love your blog!
