Walgreens Wal-Zyr Works Wonders

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My 5 year old suffers year-round allergies. Some days are better than others, but it does get pretty miserable when we don't keep them in check. The sneezing, coughing, itchy eyes drive him, and me, crazy. Unfortunately, he needs to be on some sort of allergy medication pretty much every day. He's tried several different medications, all prescription, all expensive. Two week's worth of prescription medication typically cost us $50. Now that's nothing to sneeze at!

In an attempt to cut our costs, I decided to give Walgreens Brand Children's Wal-Zyr a try. With a price tag of under $5 for a month's supply, it was almost mandatory that I at least try it for a few days. Guess what? It worked just as well as the over-priced brand name meds!

  1. Following you from Thursdays Blog Hop -- I too am a forty-something mom and of two boys! Ages 6 and 7. Today we just gerbils, one of the few non-scaly hypollergenic pets we can do; both boys have allergies, one worse than the other. This spring was MEAN for pollen, yes, itchy eyes, sneezing etc. I found that Zyrtec didn't work and his allergist said to try Allegra. It worked. Didn't know that some work for some and not others. I'll be back and hope you follow me as well; you might like my latest post on what amy boys did to my old dollhouse.

  3. Do not hesitate to use the brand. . Similar antihistamines are available in Zyrtec, as ler lur-tech in Kolsko, as wal l-zir in Wal Lugrins, or almost anywhere as "totally" unbranded. " In Allegra it is fexofenadine, and in Zyrtec it is cetirizine.
