Booking Through Thursday

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme about (mostly) books and reading. This week's BTT asks . . . Do you skip ahead in a book? Do you feel badly about it when you do?

I am proud to say that I never skip ahead in a book. I try not to even look at the next paragraph before I get to it. If I pick up a book to read it, I usually stay true to reading it through, as it was intended to be read.

  1. Skipping would be very rare for me...and in the current book I'm reading, I try to focus only on what I'm reading, because of the suspense...don't want to spoil my thrills!

  2. I would love to be able to do that, but sometimes I just can't stop myself skimming down to the next paragraph, specially as I get nearer the end of the book!

  4. It varies depending on the book. I do sometimes skip or skim or even quit!

  5. It really depends on what you are reading at the time.

  8. Can't resist looking at the next paragraph or chapter (in my case) at times. Here's mine - http://www.stasiadesiderata.com/2012/01/19/skipping-parts-of-books/
