I took the boys for a visit to my in-law's house yesterday afternoon. The 30 minute trip there takes us on a major roadway and requires paying several tolls. As I entered the first toll booth, I decided to pay the toll for the car behind me as well as my own. The toll booth collector gave me a subtle grin as I explained I'd like to pay for the next car that came through the booth. As I watched in my rearview mirror after I pulled away, the next car seemed to sit for quite a while as the collector must have been explaining their toll was already paid by the previous car. I hope I made that person smile because it sure made me feel great!
