No Filter Friday

Boy do I have a lot to say this week. Here's what's been troubling me:

• The looming government shutdown does what exactly? Who does this help when you close national parks, museums, the IRS? Fortunately for me, my refund is in the bank but what about those who are still waiting or haven't filed yet? And what about those delayed payments to our troops? That's the thanks we give them? What about those class trips to parks/museums? What in the world is going on in this country?
• When an establishment says they open at a certain time, I wish they would OPEN at that time. My doctor's office posts a schedule for patients to come in to have their blood drawn. If you say you start at 9:15am on Thursday morning, you damn well better be there at 9:15am. Don't make me sit in the parking lot waiting until 9:25am. I've got places to be and things to do. Competence and courtesy - that's what I expect.
• Bye, bye Glenn Beck. This blow-hard raving lunatic is finally getting the boot from television. As far as I'm concerned, he did nothing but display his insanity anyway. Hasta Luego!
• What the hell is Donald Trump thinking?!? This man has hopped aboard the Crazy Train. Running for President? Really? Demanding to see Obama's birth certificate? I'm sorry but these demands and ludicrous comments coming from a man who was just roasted on Comedy Central. What a joke!
