No Filter Friday

Here's what's troubling me this April Fool's Friday:
  1. Well, well, well. Apparently Prince William won't be wearing a wedding band after he's married to Kate Middleton. The Prince isn't a fan of jewelry so he won't be sporting a ring. My hubby doesn't even wear a watch and he wears his wedding ring. Be a man, Willie.
  2. I heard this year will bring the most hurricanes to the east coast in history. Great! Like we didn't get wet enough with all the snow we had this winter. I've said it before, Mother Nature's pissed about something. And now I'm getting pissed at her.
  3. What is the deal with April Fool's anyway? Office pranks, tricking your spouse, practical jokes. They should just call it Act Like a Fool Day.
  4. I think people should just tell you what they want for their birthday. It would make it so much easier for everyone. I know what to buy for you and you will definitely enjoy it. Enough with the stress of figuring out what the hell to buy for each other.

  1. I'm all for being open about birthday presents. Everyone would be much happier.

My kids would be devastated if April Fool's Day went away. What's more exciting than offering their dad a water full of salt, three years in a row! :)

  2. Haha! My kids don't even try pranks... they know I'm too dang smart :)
I am fond of pretty green cash for my birthday.

  3. April Fool's has a huge meaning for us... It's my Kaelyn's 4th birthday. So we have much to celebrate. Although I am sick of seeing people's facebooks saying they are pregnant with fake ultrasound pictures. Seriously ladies lets find something else to "prank" people with.

As for birthdays I give people a list of things my kids like and are interested in and let them know this is what they want and go at it. It works much easier that way. But for some reason some people still buy my kids odd gifts that even I don't know where they got the weird crazy idea to get that item.

  5. Popping in from the blog hop! I'm not a April Fools Day Participant. Ugh!

Hope the hurricane's all turn into tropical storms by the time they hit the east coast, I'm in North Carolina.
