MizB at Should Be Reading hosts Musing Mondays. This week's musing asks . . . Other than for school, do you read books to learn how to do something? What was/were the topic(s)?
Hubs bought some books for me a few years ago on how to sell things/selling tips on ebay, aka Ebay for Dummies. Those books were somewhat helpful. I also picked up a book at a yard sale on how to speak French when my son was 2 and in preschool taking French lessons. That book I never cracked open.
I guess I am a pretty big fan of 'how to' books. at least in the apst. the interent has taken some of that away...but not all.
ReplyDeletei think i need a how-to book on ebay! i have no idea what to do with that site!
ReplyDeleteTrish ::: My Musing Monday
It seems I bought a couple of books years ago on how to make dolls and some other sort of craft, which sadly I never did do. Life got too busy for me with raising my children that I never found time to do this. Maybe now they are grown I can find time to make these things even if I can only do it for my future grandchildren. :D
ReplyDeleteI've seen that book on selling on ebay, it looks really cool :)
