Aloha Friday

Kailani at An Island Life started Aloha Friday. Want to play along? I ask a question, you answer the question in the comments. You can also ask your own question on your blog and link up on Kailani's site. Here's my question:

What's the last room you painted (or had painted) in your house?

My answer: My husband is currently in the process of painting our basement, and the fumes are overwhelming!!

  1. My husband just painted our kitchen (gray) a few months ago. I'm now trying to coax him into painting our dining room. If I had my way, I would actually repaint every room in the house. But, I doubt I can convince him of that right now.

  2. We had the whole house painted about 8 yrs ago - And it definitely needs it again - plus I am tired of several of the Navy Blue walls - really to do some Khaki colors!

  4. It wasn't just a room. When we did our massive renovation, we had every surface inside and out painted back in 2007. I hope it's a long time before we even have to think about paint Lol!

    Happy Friday!

  8. We repainted the powder room on the first floor to the color I wanted originally...finally! ;) next up will be the upstairs hallway and the bedrooms. I'm not a big fan of painting - especially because of the fumes! :)

  10. Before we moved in here we tried to paint most of the house. Never completely finished and it is cracking all over thanks to bad paint jobs from previous owners. Lots of work to get done here one day.
