Did you ever go on spring break?
My answer: I never knew of spring break growing up. In college, the only place I went over break was a few miles south to the Jersey Shore.
Unfortunately Princess Nagger doesn't get Spring Break at her school (they'll have a 5-day weekend next week starting next Thursday for Easter) so we usually don't make plans to go anywhere. When one of my girlfriends was still in college in Lousiana, another friend and I flew down and picked her up, then drove to Daytona Beach for a week during Spring Break - it was crazy but fun! :)

No, I never went on a spring break trip with kids my own age. Our almost-19 yr. old son just went to Florida for spring break a couple weeks ago. I was a worried and nervous the whole time! He is pretty open and honest with us so I know there was a ton of drinking and partying going on. I don't like it but it's a right of passage I suppose. My husband did the same thing in high school.
ReplyDeleteHave I ever gone to a "Spring Break" city during spring break? No. But I've always done a ton of fun activities during my kids spring break from school when they were growing up. And now with the grandkids.
